		<description>&lt;p&gt;I like the way that a blog freezes your thoughts in time.  One of the reasons I have stayed away from Twitter is that I feel that it is more ephemeral.  It is mostly in the now and a little difficult to to go back to past conversations.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As for radio - for music a mp3 player is just as cheap as a radio these days so more people listen to their own playlists.  Podcasts can replace many radio talk shows.  With the exception of daily news why do we need much radio any more?&lt;/p&gt;
